I've been through some"exciting" incidents of my life,recently.I think it's worth while to share. As some people already know,we here in Indonesia had long vacation due to Eid.So there're celebrations here and there.Unlucky me,on that Eid one of my cats was missing for couple of days(9 days exactly).I've been with the cat even since she was a baby so of course I was looking for her,doing all that I could do.During that time,I've seen a lot of things that I've never seen before. And one of them is,friendship.

There's one friend of mine who always say"you're always'away'.I haven't heard anything from you,where the hell have you been?",etc,etc. Well,I'm not literally dissapeared,it's just that I was busy taking care of my life so that I didn't contact her. Then,my answer will be-as always"Friends are like stars,they're not always seen but they're always there..".My excuse,I know :p. My way of thinking about friendship was just,we're friends and no matter what happens" I'll be there whenever you need me".I may not always be arround,but when others turn their back on you,I'm not gonna do that.Sounds rethorical,but I thought it's just the way it is.I mean,I'm sure my friends will do the same.It's just general thoughts. However,I've never seen the true meaning of friendship untill yesterday when I lost my cat. I really saw their supports and helps for me.I mean,some people won't care much about a cat.They think it's only"animal". But not with my friends,they did support and helped me to find the cat.Not even a second they said"it's only a cat". Here I'd like to say,..Thank you so much my friends for all of your supports! I appreciate it A LOT!:)

Still,I got people who said this during the search"It's a cat,Why don't you buy a new one?". This is where it goes wrong.We love our pets because of what they are,the time we spent with them,and that's priceless. You can't buy it with money. In fact,we love our pets not because they have pretty feature and stuffs,we love them just the way they are. I ever saw a man caress his pitbull tenderly,I was like"Woah,how could he love that'kind'of dog??:O".I mean,it's pitbull x_x..     But then I realized that his love for his pitbull was the same as my love for my cats.A love from a human to his/her furry friends.That's all..

So,it's kinda sad for me to hear such"buying animals for pets"thing.This is not me against breeding activity. Though I don't like breeding to be honest.There're hundreds and even thousands animals out there on our streets who begging for foods,some even got injured,tortured,and abused.They also deserve home,human friends for them and their chance is simply reduced by massive breeding of some certain pets races by breeders.Are breeders to be blamed for this?

No,what they do is simpy caused by high demand of some certain animals races.Nowadays,I've seen lots of people pet animal from certain races not because they LOVE the animal,but simply because the animals have HIGH PRICE so that will either represent or boost their social status.If that kind of stuffs that they need,I think they should buy real stuffs(gold,diamond,antiques,etc) with no soul in it. And animals are certainly not that kind of stuffs!!Oh please..

Someone that I know personally, she pet this angora/persian cat(note:non local cats here are always"priced"high),she realized that her cat has died after she smelt something unpleasant on her house(she lives alone).Apparently, it's been days the cat died.She's a career women.I wonder why she pet a cat since she knew that she's a busy women..

My cats aren't from any petshop/breeder.Some of them were dumped in front of my previous house when they were still baby kitten. But some of my cats have thick fur though they're all of short haired cats,that made people thought that they're of certain races from petshop.Honestly,I dislike it when people saw my cat and they came with this question"Is s/he from X race?". Sadly,now even cat's race does matter..I mean,they're cats!Race only means for physical description, but now it means $$$.. And,this also opens the chance of cat's and other animals abduction. If you have animals that worth $$$ and the animals walk on the street,then they're missing..biggest chance that you have is that..they're abducted. Simple,most animals will go to their home. And,less people will be interested in abudcting animals that worth nothing. So,it's a sad fate to those "pricey"animals,isn't it?Their owner most likely to keep them indoor,while it's the fact that animals are happier when they're outdoor,chasing something,running,etc. And,please remember not all breeders treat their animals well.Check this video: 

Do you think it's right?I'll let you alone to decide.As for me,I don't want to buy animals from shop/breeders while there're lots of animals out there on the street who are suffering and need for help.In some countries(and area in Indonesia),street animals are euthanized. In China,this one even get rougher due to government policy.Take a look at this horror pic.I shed my tears 1st time I saw it.The dog was killed since the owner didn't have him properly licensed:

I love tint products,be it lip tint,cheek tint,anything tinted products.Before making this conversion to clean and green beauty products,I have tried some liptints,so when I saw 100%pure had lip & cheek tint on their range,of course I deffy wanted to try.If you don't know what 100%pure brand is,or having a high curiousity about source of your make up colorants,read my prev.post here.If you're new and jump to this blog by accident,well..I know that some people are even just too lazy to click another link(I do it sometimes,hehehe...),so here I'll copy and paste from my previous post for you:

As you might know,when we buy colored cosmetic(lipstick,blush on,eyeshadow,even skincare),there're sources of cosmetic color that we buy.Now,what are sources of our cosmetic color?Generally it can be classified into these:

1.Plant

Leaves,Fruits,Root,Flower,basically from plant.

2.Animal 

From insect,fish,snail,and anyother animal.Yes,animal.Royal purple color,once worn only by royalty as the name suggests, is obtained from the Murex snail. Sepia is obtained from cuttlefish, and Indian yellow is obtained from the urine of cows that have been force-fed mango leaves.The most famous animal that is made into color source of cosmetic will be cochineal.Cochineal is an insect that is used to make carmine color in food and cosmetic industry.Carmine color is extracted from the insect's body and eggs and mixed with aluminum or calcium salts to make carmine dye .The insects are killed by immersion in hot water (after which they are dried) or by exposure to sunlight, steam, or the heat of an oven. Each method produces a different colour that results in the varied appearance of commercial cochineal. The insects must be dried to about 30 percent of their original body weight before they can be stored without decaying.It takes about 70,000 insects to make one pound of cochineal dye.Okay,that torturing animal activity is enough to ban it from my cosmetic purchase.Also,I certainly don't want to see insect on my cosmetic product.More,if you're a moslem like me,carmine is haram according to some islamic religious council.Just google it for sure!;)Carmine is labelled as CI 75470,or E120.Carmine is also called Crimson Lake, Cochineal, Natural Red #4.And,carmine is widely used in food industry as well.Just check your candy or yoghurt.Basically,carmine is used to make red color in both food and cosmetic industry.Also,as a food dye it has been known to cause severe allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock in some people.

3.Mineral

The minerals are pulverized and mixed with a dispersing or spreading agent. Sometimes heating the minerals produces different hues.This mineral origins(elements, oxides, gemstones, salts, and complex salts)are insoluble,so can be defined as pigments.

4.Synthetic Color

Synthetic colorants are copies of vegetable, animal, and mineral-based colorants, and are made in a laboratory. Until the nineteenth century, all colorants were of natural origin. The first synthetically made commercial colorant, mauve, was developed from aniline, a coal tar derivative, by William Henry Perkins in 1856. Today, chemists arrange and manipulate complex organic compounds to make dyes of all colors. Synthetic dyes, made in a controlled atmosphere, are without impurities and the colors are more consistent from batch to batch.The most common synthetic colors used in cosmetics and hair dyes are called FD&C colors or D&C colors.FD&C colors means the colors has been certified by USFDA to be used in Food,Drugs,& Cosmetics. D&C colors means the color can be used in Drugs & Cosmetics only,and not in Food. FD&C and D&C colors are derived from coal tar, which in turn is a by-product of petroleum. Because some coal tar dyes have been known to cause cancer, they are are regulated by the USFDA as to the amount of lead or arsenic they contain, limiting these elements to 10 parts per million.Lake colors can also be derived from coal tar.Lakes are produced from the FD&C Dyes and are oil dispersible (but generally not oil soluble) and thus can be mixed with oils and fats. They can also be dispersed in other carriers such as propylene glycol, glycerin and sucrose (water and sugar).That's why it's often used in cosmetic industry since generally cosmetics are made of oil.So,if in our cosmetic there're either:"FD&C color,or D&C color,or Lake color"on ingredients list,it means the cosmetic uses synthetic color as the colorants.

Yeah,those are some of what I've posted before.For detil info,you can click whole of my prev.post about it here.So,basically 100%pure source their products colorants from fruits & vegetable as their pigments.By far,their lips products are my fave since I love to see plants as my cosmetic pigments.What I'm avoiding the most is animal colorants which is unfortunately,widely available.Even on some natural and green companies products.What i'm talking about here is carmine.Carmine is no.1 fave source colorants since it can produce various beautiful red hues.I deffy say no to insect on my cosmetic products(and ingesting insect is a yuck idea for me -__-..). Also,recently I found on the market that now producers tend to write the CI number instead of the common name for the color(for exp: FD&C Blue no.1,D&C Yellow no.10,etc)which is absolutely a big loss for consumers since they won't be able to differ whether their make up source of colorants are either from synthetic or mineral,or what???? There're thousands of colors on CI list,unless you're a pro in color industry,so it's impossible to detect which one is synthetic and which one is mineral/animal source of colorants just by reading the CI number on ingredients list. As a consumer,I have the right for such info before making a buying decision of a product. And now they just don't give it....Haha..well,they can still continue doing such things forever,personally I'll deffy leave those kind of producers :).

Now,how about this product?Well,the packaging is simple but cute imo.It came with a plastic seal wrapped arround it.

They have 6 shades,see below:

I was confused about what color to pick honestly.I don't like either sheer or shimmer,so what left for me are shades: peach glow,pink grapefruit glow,and cranberry glow.But from the swatch what I love the most was sugar plum sheer color.However,I was worried of the word"plum"since in the past,all lipstick that I had with plum word in it always ended up they had mauve/violet color. I can't imagine a violet color on my cheek,it'll deffy look more like bruises on my cheeks rather than a healthy cheek!Beside,the picture can be mistaken in the actual color. Then,between peach glow,pink grapefruit glow,and cranberry glow,I could only choose pink grapefruit glow or cranberry glow since I already ordered my lipglaze in peach color.I don't want to have 2 products in peach color since they can substitute each other(yep,you can use your lipstick as your blush on too;) ).So,only pink grapefruit glow and cranberry glow left.The cranberry one looked tempting,but again the extra red color made me worried.Yeah,I don't want it to make me look like I've been slapped or something.So I chose this pink grapefruit glow shade.And this is the swatch on my hand and paper:

Overall I like this product.But I won't give it high ratings.Why?simply because it has no expiry date printed on it.Just like my previous 100%pure lipglaze,I'll give this product a 4.5 points.Nice product,they just need to provide a better info for consumers about its expiry date.That's all I can post for now.Thank you for Reading:)  And please,don't be hesitated to share some of the joy you have today for those in need below:

Sleeping is something that we love the most but sometimes it's hard to get.There're times when suddenly we wake up in the middle of the night and hardly get back to sleep again and instead we remember latest horror movie that we watched couple of years ago. Did I mention horror movies?Right,I know that some people are fans of horror movies,or those who pretend to be fans of horror movies,but then they're even too scared to go to their own bathroom. You do not??   Well,at least my friends do:D..

There're couple of my friends on my boarding house back then whom with the reason that I didn't know why,they always watched the latest horror movie on the cinema.Though after watched it,they didn't even dare to go to the bathroom for couple of days without any companion.Bathroom isn't that big deal for me(though I don't call my self brave either).But hey... at least,I watched my horror movie in the way it's supposed to be.And my friends?....There was this japanesse movie called "the ring"that everyone here was talking about it.Off course I watched it,more  caused of my curiousity.And my friends,sure they also watched it. BUT in different way.Want to know how?one day I visited their room and found them were watching it also.....with dance music turned on so loudly from their compo while they turned off their pc sounds! Imagine a horror movie with Britney songs or lady Gaga as the background for the whole movie! What a C H E A T!!!:D...Oh,I should've figured it out before.Why I didn't have that GREATEST idea of"how to watch a horror movie well"before?..:D

So that,I adore quality of my sleeping time much.I'm not an insomnia mania,but really I hate it when I wake up in the middle of the nite and hardly get back to sleep again'till morning come.Because it will mean 1 thing:I will yawn,sleepy, moody,and tired the next morning which I absolutely dislike it.And more,I don't want to add dark eyecircles that I already have.There came this silensor.

This device is fine,but I want to try something that is more natural.So when I did my badger products purchase,I included this Badger Sleep Balm also.Badger has another sleep balm,dedicated for kids too called"Night night Balm".Other than that,badger has a LOT of balms that you can see on their web.Their balms are sooo lovely! Take a look at their collection! They have various cartoon badger pics printed on it.Each balm has its own pic depends on what balm is in it.Like this sleep balm,it has a sleeping badger pic on top of it.

This balm was sealed in plastic when 1st time I opened it.It has expiry date on it as well.Texture of the balm is solid,not waxy,and not creamy.It's a solid oil so that if you want to use it,you just need to rub it with your finger.It's not even greasy,just like a light oil on your finger.That's all.It'll sink to your skin,so don't worry in case you're wondering about oiliness.

I like the smell of this balm,so calming.If you don't have any sleeping problem,you can still use this balm as your stress relaxer balm(oh well,at least there's no better relax than sleeping,right?). To use this balm is easy,just rub it on your temple,forehead,or nose if you want to.This is a multy purpose balm,you can use it for your hands,heels,any other area that needs softening. Unless you're allergic to beeswax and certain essential oils,so this balm is fine for you. This one has USDA Organic certification,so that will help you make sure of its ingredients list. This one has a leaping bunny symbol which means no animal cruelty here during the process of product making. This one is not a vegan product though,since it uses beeswax in it. I deffinitely like this product,so I'll give this product 5 points.

I've been at my state of lazziness to write a post on this blog these days(oh,like i've never done it before.Lol!).This month has been a busy month for me,so whenever i had free time,i did blogwalking instead of writing.Now that I finally have a cozy time to write,sure I decide to write something here:).This time I want to review liptint products from my beloved brand,Badger. Talking about badger,do you know that they actually wanted to name it"Bear Balm"instead of Badger Balm?It's because Badger Bill,the founder,thought that the balm that he made could soften even the roughest hands of a bear^^.Hmm..somehow I prefer Bear Balm to Badger Balm;) I'm a bearnatics,as you could see on my previous,many2 posts;)..

Ok,let's talk about the badger liptint that I bought.I bought 2 badger liptints:red jasper and copper.I wanted to make separate review about this,but then I think I should make it into one so that you can compare the color differences.Badger has 4 shades for their lip tint products:rose tourmaline(pink),garnet(purple),red jasper(red),and copper(brown).

I chose red jasper and copper since I want red color and copper color.I had lipsticks from clinique and oriflame in copper color before,and I love copper color,so thats why I chose this copper color.Rose tourmaline will suit someone in a very fair skin color,like caucasian people,so deffy not match to my skin tone.And garnet,I assumed it'll be a purple in color which I absolutely hate purple color on my lips.Back then I've ever bought l'oreal lipstick in purple,and it's very very odd imo.I bought it not because I like it nor want to waste my money,it's just I wanted to have purple lip color to complete my lipstick color collection(silly reason,huh?).Well,the purple lipstick end up on my trash can since neither me,nor my mum,nor my friends want that lipstick if any of you are curious about it:p..

The badger liptint has a good,nice packaging.Packaging is made of plastic with a badger pic on it.It has 2 tops,one is for the liptint color,and another top is for shimmery color.They put expiry date on it too.

So,if you want to add shimmery finish,just use the shimmery one(the white cap).It has the label there on each cap,and it also has different cap color so you won't be confused about how to use this stuff.I like this one better than what burt's bees lip shimmer has(read my post here).Burt's bees already mix the shimmery effect on one tube,so if you dislike shimmer color like me,the only option is just to dump the product. This badger liptint,well..I don't like shimmer color,so I just use the tinted color.Just that easy!:)

Looks pretty similar,but it doesn't! The copper one falls to a mix of golden-brown-orange category.And the red jasper one is just a brick red color,my fave color.The copper one will be good as a bronzer too,since it's really bronze. If you ask me which one that I like,red jasper or copper,I'll choose the red jasper one.Red jasper will brighten my complexion no matter how dull or bright it is. You know,time when you're tired,lack of sleep,bad mood,or even sick.This red jasper color will make you bright.The copper one will work well only when I have good skin complexion(aka in prima condition).Which I mostly don't:D..So,how about the shimmery one on another cap?it has a slight hint of shimmer.I don't use it for my lips,instead..i use it for my eyes,or brow bone.It's good for a light high lighter.See,very practical!:)

If you think this is like anyother beeswax lipbalm that you've ever tried,you're wrong!This is buttery,and not waxy at all(compared to burt's bees lip shimmer).The texture is even harder than 100% pure lipglaze on my previous post here.That lipglaze is even more creamy than this one.This liptint doesn't melt on warm indonesia temperature,while burt's bees lip shimmer did melt!More,this one taste and smells chocolate,just like my badger sunscreen(see the post here).Very yummy. Since this is a liptint,so what you'll get is a sheer(but not tinted-if we compared to those liptint like benetint and stuffs.Those one tinted your lips,and this one layering on your lips)result on one sweep.For a bolder result,just apply it 3-4 times to get more coverage. Hmm..i think they should name it lipcolor instead of liptint?I know that lots of people are confused about this"tint"thing.But tinted in my experience,the product tint the lips instead of layering the lips with color. Source of colorants?right,it's mineral.Read my previous post here about source of colorants in our cosmetic if you want to know more about it.

Overall ratings,it's 5 points. It's worth the money I've paid for,and I like the result too.Also,this badger company has a good PR.I've ever sent an e-mail for them,and they replied it very quickly.

Talking about the value of the products that I buy,I remember my previous post here which has made me realize that this kind of green products are worth the money we've paid for.Not getting what I mean by that?see the pic below: (you can always preview the image in its original size by clicking it)

Which one that you think worth the price I've paid for?If you're dizzy enough to decode what is in high end brand ingredients list,you can always try googling it for sure.But one thing for sure,synthetic colorants prices are cheaper than natural colorants price.As well for wax,plant based waxes and butters have higher price than synthetic/petroleum waxes one.If that's not enough,say hallo to this ingredients that is listed on that high end brand:BHT(Butylated Hidroxy Toluene). BHT is linked with cancer risk,and is still used in cosmetic industry as an aditive.Some industries have replaced it with BHA(Butylated hydroxyanisole). But apparently The US National Institutes of Health reported that BHA is reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen based on evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has"admitted" that it's carcinogen on their carcinogen list report,see this link. You can see it's there along with a very familiar preservative in cosmetic industry,which is..formaldehyde. If you don't know what formaldehyde is,it is in the same family with formalin which has been an issue here in Indonesia. I've posted about it before here,but i'll list again what formaldehyde agents are:

-DMDM-Hydantoin
-Quaternium-15
-Diazolidinyl Urea (or Germall 115)
-Imidiazolidinyl Urea (or Germall II)

Sound familiar?sure,it's everywhere.Even in toothpaste,or baby products.Check it your self for a better result!;)   So,back to those lipstick above.Yes,that high end brand contain carcinogen agent.Why did they use it there? Hahaha,I don't want to discuss about it :D.. but certainly now I want to base my buying decision making just based on what is inside the product,not from the brand.Why?simple,why I should buy"cheap"materials in high price just because it's labelled under a high end brand while in fact what's in it is nothing(and some even contain dangerous ingredients)?.Absolutely no!;)...

Another high end brand lipstick that I have,it contains microcrystalline wax which is apparently is just a by product of lubricant oil production!Microcrystalline waxes are derived from the refining of the heavy distillates from lubricant oil production. Imagine,how wasted the material is(I imagine"that"car lubricant oil..err..a heavy distillates of that?Not flattering at all..-__-..),and thanks to the high end brand,it's priced high.Just check any of your high end brand cosmetic,mainly lipstick and if you find"microcrystalline wax"in it,you know how it should be priced then;).I was so dissapointed to know that a lubricant oil by product can be priced that high(and I bought it too in the past,gladly too!-__-)so that I told my fren and discussed about this.She laughed me and said"Hahaha,got you!a brand minded person!:p ....".I bitterly laughed and said"yeah,what a shame!Now i'm a brain minded instead..trust me on that!"...

I think,whatever we'll buy no matter the price it will be,the product should worth the money we'll pay for.Here,I've made a conclusion that good brand doesn't equal good stuffs.As a consumer,we must read carefully what's in it since it's us who'll use the product AND taking benefit/loss of what is inside it. Not the producer whom gain profit from it. All in all,I just want to be a wise consumer my self. Certainly not being irrational by just whatsoever called..brand.
